Tonight Nutok and Stubby came home with some quills in their snouts. We’ve seen worse, for instance my neighbor’s dog. I started to pull the quills out with tweezers and Greg reminded me that the vet uses pliers. We managed to pull most of them out of Stubby and planned on taking Nutok to the emergency vet, but we worked on Nutok even though she was screaming and there was blood all over the place (we were pulling them out of her snout). Luckily, we didn’t have to go to the vet!
