We got a call last night from a guy who lives down the block from us. He found Sam. Well, he found part of Sam– the part with the collar. He was flying his ultralite and landed toward the back of his ten acre lot which borders on hundreds of acres of state land. When he landed he found Sam. He said she’d been dragged not much was left– she was probably eaten by wolves and ravens.
So that’s that. Now we know. Very sad.
