The trails were jammed packed today. It was very warm, 24 above zero and everyone was out and about. I lost count of how many people we passed, but we passed all types of vehicles; Cars, Trucks, snowmachines, walkers, and of course dog teams via ATV and sled. Someone tied there dog to a tree between 17-22 mile on the baseline. I’ll have to go back later tonight to make sure that they picked it up. I think it was tied to a tree– it was a sled dog and it was barking and it was nestled in the thicket.
The team ran okay. A little slow, but I toned it down because Roo went with us and because it was so warm. Mileage was around 19ish.
