Roo’s eye problem is diagnosed as Horner’s Syndrome, though we don’t know whether it will get better. It could be due to a number of different things. We are giving eye drops 2X daily before meals. The vet said it does not seem to be due to a brain lesion. It might be myositis (a general term for inflammation and degeneration of muscle tissue). Because we are not very interested in driving 3 hours to an MRI machine, nor in giving her brain surgery if it is indicated, we are going to wait and see what happens.
Roo remains spunky and doesn’t seem to be in any pain. Her favorite daily activity remains: barking at Capella as they run by each others’ pens during our evening party.
