We passed the 2 month mark this past weekend. Lots of phone calls, but no credible reports of seeing Sam. This doesn’t look too good. Dominant theories are the sudden death theory (by moose or wolf), and the living elsewhere theory (taken home by someone, perhaps in North Pole on the other side of our woods). Most other theories just don’t seem as credible.
We’re still hoping, have signs out, etc., but have not been looking through the woods much any more. Meanwhile, the winter is fast approaching, and we are working on dog yard maintenance and gearing up for a lot of snow!
